Welcome to the centre for model-based software engineering at the University of West London. The centre, based in the School of Computing and Technology, undertakes research projects that improve and apply techniques of model-based software engineering to build software systems.
Model-based software engineering is a collection of tools and techniques that use models to improve the software development process. Models allow the engineer to abstract away from the implementation details and to focus on the key features of the application. Development processes can be modelled in order to improve the scope for computer support. Application code can be generated from models or models can be executed directly.
The centre for model-based software engineering offers skills and expertise for undertaking research and industry projects.
